SHEPPERS

Sheppers is a university project collaborated with the Greater Shepparton City Council.

Sheppers is designed as a website that allows users to browse and explore a variety of activities and events they could do in Shepparton. The aim of the service is to encourage local economic development by attracting city people to travel to Shepparton, getting involved into those interactive activities, consuming healthy local-grown produce, increasing population flow and potentially educating younger generations about

healthy consumptions.

Instead of designing a complete new system which could become potential competitions to existing organisations and services, Sheppers is more of a platform that allows more direct and easier connections between current services (local farmers, GV Foodbowl Revolutions, etc.) and their future customers (users from the city). It focuses on local community involvements and cooperations.
