SWARM

Swarm is a university project collaborated with the City of Barcelona aiming to create safe mobility.

Swarm provides a service centralised around locals leading the way to a web of electric scooters' parking stations in Barcelona through an app, which will not only direct users to these parking stations but in ways that are safe and easily accessible.

The system contains two types of users, services providers and e-scooter riders. Service providers could build a win-win relationship with Swarm by setting up their spare space as e-scooter parking spots, this will maximise the use of land as well as provide more job opportunities. The e-scooter riders could use the navigation system built-in the app to avoid populated areas and regulate speed while riding e-scooters in Barcelona.
